Hey Kids!
Here is a picture of one of the airplanes the Royal Flying Doctor Service uses to fly medical doctors and nurses to patients who live in the outback. The people who live in the outback may live several hundreds of miles away from the nearest doctor, so when they need medical attention, they have to call the RFDS. The RFDS takes patients from the outback to the nearest hospital. Flying a patient only takes several hours, whereas driving the patient to the nearest hospital may take several days.
We took a tour of the building when we were in Cairns.
